Easy Instructions For Uninstalling The MSN Browser

The MSN web browser was developed by Microsoft for users to use it in conjunction with the MSN internet service provided by Microsoft. It is similar to Internet Explorer but has a little but stylized user interface. Here we discuss the steps to remove the browser from your system.

Instructions
  • Open the Windows Start menu by pressing the Windows key found in your keyboard and then click on the Control Panel tab found at the right side pane of the Start menu. 
  • Click on the link labeled Uninstall a Program found in the Control Panel window if you are using a Windows 7 or Windows Vista run computer or click on the link labeled Add or Remove Programs if you are using a Windows XP run computer. 
  • You will be able to see that a new window appearing on the screen with all the installed programs in the computer displayed in it. Look for the program named MSN Explorer from the list displayed in the window and then click on it to select it. 
  • Now move the cursor to the top of the window and then click on the Uninstall button for completely removing the MSN browser from your system. If you are using a Windows 7 PC, then the Uninstall button will be labeled as Change/Remove. 
Windows Live support suggests that if you are using the Windows XP OS, you need to use the Windows components wizard tool in the operating system for removing the MSN browser. Below we discuss how to remove it using the Windows components wizard.
  • Click on the Control Panel icon found in the Start menu and then click on the Add or Remove Programs icon from the Control Panel window. 
  • Look for the icon labeled as Add/Remove Windows Components in the left side of the window and then click on it when found. 
  • Scroll down through the list of programs shown in the list and then click on the MSN Explorer option when found for selecting it. 
  • Remove the check mark found in the adjacent box and then click on the Next button for starting the removal of the MSN browser. 
  • When the process completes, click on the Finish button.
