Stop Outlook 2010 Crashing Errors

Outlook 2010 is generally found to be a dependable email management tool, but then it’s not above crashing once in a while. If you have something of that sort happen when you need to be working on something important, you’d find Outlook repair to be a tad difficult. try it long enough, and you’ll come around to the opinion that a reinstall is needed. Alternately, you could reset the user profile, or even try starting the application in Safe Mode.

How to reinstall

You need to do this right, and without using shortcuts.
  • Go to the Start menu and open Control Panel. Click Programs and choose Uninstall a Program. Then from the list of options shown, select Microsoft Office 2010 and then choose Change.
  • Hit Add or Remove Features when you get the installation screen, and then hit Continue. Then select Not Available from the dropdown next to Microsoft Outlook and choose Continue.
  • When you’ve fully taken out Outlook, repeat the steps once again, with the only difference being that you set Outlook to Run from My Computer. That’s how you reinstall it.
Repairing the user profile

Sometimes it’s the user profile that’s been damaged and not the application itself. So that’s what needs to be fixed.

Go to the Control Panel and then go to User Accounts. Choose Mail (or Mail 32-bit), then select E-Mail Accounts. When you get the screen, choose the Outlook account you wish to fix, and hit the Repair icon. Click Next and follow the instructions shown there. This will repair the email configuration automatically.

Restart the application in Safe Mode

If you still have the same problems as before despite having tried the above methods, then you should try and open Outlook in the safe mode. After you do this, you’ll be able to find out what exactly went wrong, and if it’s still that way. If the problem hasn’t gone away, chances are it’s caused by an add-in.

Open the program in normal mode, and navigate through File -> Options -> Add-Ins. In the Add-Ins screen, you’ll be able to see the add-ins that are currently installed in the system. If there’s any third-party add-ins in there, then try disabling them one by one to see if the problems been removed. This way you’ll be able to see, which add-on isn’t good for the program, and remove it.

That was on how to fix frequent crashing errors in Outlook 2010. Call our tech support for similar Outlook repair or assistance.

Procedure To Uninstall Windows 8 And Install Windows 7 On Your System

Windows 8 was anticipated as the most revolutionary operating system to be ever released by the software giant Microsoft Corporation. But, the operating system did not do well in the market as expected. Considering the pre-release hype, Windows 8 should have been received like hot cakes. However, nothing seems to be going right for Windows 8 and Microsoft as the release bombed big time.

There were many reasons why Windows 8 failed miserably. One major part is played by the difficult to absorb the user interface of the new operating system. Windows 8 is tremendously different from any other Windows operating system that users ever used until now. It probably came as a culture shock for them. Whatever the reason be, many users wish to stick with Windows XP and Windows 7, instead of upgrading to Windows 8. Some even started enquiring how to uninstall Windows 8 and roll back to Windows 7 after the upgrade.

Uninstalling Windows 8

When you have enabled Legacy Boot and changed your boot order in Windows 8, it will be possible to boot into installation media and begin installing Windows 7. First, you will be seeing a prompt to start the installation process. When the installation process starts, you need to choose your language and region and then click on Install Now button. You will then be asked to agree Microsoft’s software license. You need to choose between an Upgrade or Custom Installation. After that, choose the destination drive for the OS install. For instance, you can install Windows 7 to your C: drive.

The next step is to uninstall Windows 8 from your system. You can select the various partitions on the hard drive and go through the process of deleting each one. All this is actually handled in the installer, giving you the option to remove or format each partition as it is selected. Be careful when this takes place and while choosing the partition to be deleted, because they cannot be retrieved after they are removed.

Your computer will finally boot into Windows, and you will be asked to enter a 25-digit Product Key. Actually, you can proceed without one, but you will be interrupted by warnings, as if you are using a pirated version of Windows. After the installation, do not forget to install the necessary drivers like Network drivers, trackpad, graphics etc. When done, you can start using your computer powered by Windows 7 again.

New Alliances And Cloud Offerings Announced By Microsoft

Microsoft is always innovative and tends to search for new ideas to make their products more user friendly and popular. One such effort taken by Microsoft to remove the barriers from cloud adoption is by starting new partnerships and products with the assumption that most of the businesses will tend to rely on cloud services more by the year 2017. Brad Anderson, the Vice President of Microsoft Cloud and Enterprise edition said that the future of the business depends on mobility/Cloud and that “the future is now.”

He said, “Our differentiated Cloud innovations, comprehensive mobile productivity solutions and developer tools help all of our customers realize the true potential of the Cloud era." As a part of their project, to launch wide range of new products, Microsoft used the TechEd North American forum, which is similar to Microsoft help forum. The new product includes the introduction of private connections to the Cloud. Moreover, there is Microsoft Azure ExpressRoute, which will help the users to make connections that are private between on premises environment and Azure.

By starting partnerships with companies like Equinix, BT, AT&T, TelecityGroup, SingTel, Zadara Storage and Verizon, new options for embracing the cloud will be offered by ExpressRoute. This will also include some features like security, low latency, fast speeds, and other reliability features. By enabling a single file share from multiple virtual machines, Microsoft Azure files streamline the cloud storage. This will help to save huge sums of money and time. In addition, Microsoft also introduced some computer-intensive virtual machines, reserved IP addresses and in-region and cross-region virtual networking connections.

The preview of the Azure API Management is also available and the users can make use of it to create new business models and to improve the inter-departmental information sharing. This is mainly done by revealing APIs with the use of cloud based services. In the coming month, we will see the introduction of the preview of Azure Site Recovery, which was formerly called as Hyper-V Recovery Manager. With the introduction of this, the users can recover the files more effectively and by paying lesser costs.

With this new feature, a customer can easily recover or replicate virtual machines in Windows Azure, if any error or failure occurs in the main datacenters. Moreover, Microsoft is also introducing a preview of Microsoft Antimalware for Azure, which will help the users to install antivirus software for both virtual machines and cloud services.
