Cross Platform Voice Chat Not Supported In Xbox One

Xbox One does not need an introduction if you are a fan of computer games. This game console introduced by Microsoft is now used by thousands and thousands of people all over the world. Xbox One did face a few troubles, which were quickly fixed by Microsoft. However, the article is not about that. The latest news that we hear about Xbox One is that, the game console will not support a cross platform voice chat with Xbox 360, its predecessor.

This is quite surprising. Major Nelson said, “I've asked - based on what I know of the voice system, I would be surprised if this was possible”. This can be treated as another bad move from Microsoft because, it is quite obvious that they are promoting their new upgrade rather than supporting the old versions. Now that Xbox One has been released, they would definitely wish people to try it without continuing with Xbox 360.

Xbox 360 was in fact a wonderful game console that many people bought and continue to use. However, just like the other Microsoft products that lose importance when new products are launched, Xbox 360 also had to face similar problems even though it works exceptionally well. If you have already tried to chat using your Microsoft chat in Xbox One, you would have realized that you will not be able to communicate with your friends who are using Xbox 360.You might be wondering why Microsoft had not given some help in this case.

If you are already thinking about switching to the new game console, it is always a good option. But before you take such a decision, it would be best if you wait as Microsoft might do a rethink on their policy. You should never expect Microsoft to stick with their policies when you are talking about support offered for a product introduced by them.

You may expect to hear from Microsoft tech forums as soon as they provide the latest updates regarding Microsoft quickly. A voice chat during a game session is real fun and without it, you would find the session to be a bit boring. To avoid this, you can wait for the release of Microsoft support or try Xbox One instead.

You may contact the Microsoft chat support team to know more about the same and get your queries clarified.
