Configure Multiple Mailboxes In Microsoft Outlook

Most of us lead very busy lives and managing the same has always been pretty difficult, if not for computers. Being a feature rich email client, Microsoft Outlook manages calendar, contacts and notes while providing the best email experience.
Having to deal with different email addresses is always a headache for most of us as we don’t want unwanted emails coming to our personal or business emails. This is where Outlook can be of help. As you might know, Outlook has the ability to operate multiple email addresses. All we need to do is to know how to go about setting up more than one mailbox in Microsoft Outlook.
Despite having ample Outlook tech Support available online, you might still wonder how it is possible to set up multiple mailboxes in MS Outlook. Read through the below given instructions that will help answer the question.

Instructions
  • Open Microsoft Outlook on your computer.
  • Select Account Settings from the Tools menu.
  • To set up an additional email account, Select the button labeled E-mail and then click on the New icon below.
  • Select the type of email account that you wish t o set up and click the Next button to go the next step.
  • Type in your name and your email address that you wish to set up. Then enter the password in the given tabs twice to confirm the same.  Click on Next and Outlook will try to automatically configure your email server settings.
  • Most of the time, Outlook will automatically find and set the incoming and outgoing email server addresses. However, sometimes Outlook may be unable to do the same. In such cases, you may have to manually enter the incoming and outgoing email server address for the account that you are setting up. Make sure that you keep the information handy with you before you start the process. Your email provider will be able to provide you with the details and you can find it often from their website.  Once you have entered these values correctly in the given boxes, Outlook will check if the settings are correct.
  • After the account has been successfully configured, you will get a prompt. Click on the Finish button to close the set up wizard. It will take you back to the account settings dialog box.
This way, you can add as many mailboxes you want in your Outlook application. Contact the Outlook tech support team in case you need further assistance.
